Rapid Insights Dashboard
Designed and delivered in a short timeframe, this responsive web dashboard enables users to generate detailed reports with multiple filters, providing a dynamic summary page with intuitive data visualizations and deep-dive links for in-depth analysis.
Overview
A plugin was built within the internal developer portal to help engineers enforce code standards effectively. Customers sought a no-code interface for check creation and an analytics dashboard, features already offered by competitors. To prevent customer churn, we established key product principles:
Simplified Adoption: Developed a user-friendly no-code UI for seamless setup and management.
Achieved Feature Parity: Matched competitors by integrating intuitive no-code tools and robust analytics.
Enable users to generate reports using multiple filters, with data visualizations and deep-dive links.
The project was completed in two months as a responsive web design, where I worked as the sole designer, leading the entire design process from concept to execution.
Our project targeted Tech Executives and Component-Owning Teams, delivering dashboards for executives to monitor key metrics, adoption, and performance trends. Teams gained tools to track component health, export data, and set alerts, ensuring visibility into pass rates and system reliability.
Information Architecture and Flowmaps
I collaborated with two engineers to design the information architecture and user flows, tailoring them to the needs of tech executives and component-owning teams. Through a storymapping session, we developed user stories that shaped Information architecture diagrams and flowmaps, forming the foundation for the screen design.

I designed the information architecture diagram incorporates mini-wireframes to enhance clarity and make the structure more intuitive and easy to understand.

I designed mini-wireframes to make flowmaps clearer and more intuitive, ensuring seamless understanding for stakeholders involved in the development process.

My flowmaps translate user stories into user journeys, mapping out interactions and screen transitions. While they are blurred for confidentiality, feel free to reach out for more details.
Interaction Model

Wireframe and Final designs
I focused on defining core components, tokens, and design principles while aligning closely with development to maintain consistency. To keep things simple and efficient, I established a clean architecture from the start, avoiding unnecessary complexity and ensuring components were optimized for scalability. Working closely with developers, we defined clear naming conventions and structured documentation, making the system intuitive and easy to adopt.

Learnings
The storymapping format was highly effective for our technical product, enabling efficient knowledge sharing with minimal meeting time while allowing subject matter experts to contribute seamlessly.
However, the rapid approach we took for this project impacted quality and is not sustainable. If given a choice, I would prioritize measurable customer satisfaction over simply delivering features.
